David Holland

David brings 28 years experience performing chemical and biological analyses. He has been an adjunct Instructor at Harnell Community College, and was a principal analyst for the Monterey County Public Health Laboratory for 12 years prior to starting MBAS. He is certified by the California Dept. of Health as a Public Health Microbiologist (#1810), Licensed Water Distribution Grade 1, Water treatment Operator Grade 2, and AWWA Water Quality Analyst Grade IV.

David evaluates and implements laboratory methods, provides technical consultation to public water systems. He is the laboratory’s Chemical Hygiene and Safety Officer. He performs inorganic and microbiological analyses, as well as develops, organizes, administers, and controls MBAS laboratory operations including reporting, accounting, LIMS management and analysis.

Sarah McGinnis

Sarah has worked at Monterey Bay Analytical Services since January 2010. She came aboard with 7 years lab experience in bioassay from Toxscan. She performs microbiological and inorganic analyses on drinking water and wastewater. She has several years experience operating the Atomic Absorption Spectrometer and the Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometer and the ICP-OES.

Mason Weidner-Holland
Administrative Support | Accounts Specialist

Mason has been involved with Monterey Bay Analytical Services since its inception in 1999, and is currently working full time in all of our administrative duties. He has experience with the laboratory processes and regulatory needs to ensure the best quality to our clients.

Terren is currently working toward his BS degree in Chemistry.
